SURVEYS

UES inspects and supervises project and heavy lift shipments and conducts interface controls. This includes a pre-loading survey of the cargo in order to document the actual condition of the cargo at this stage. Before we start loading the best way of loading and stowage of the respective cargo will be discussed with all parties involved. We inspect the suitability and condition of the lifting gear before we begin the operation. The scope of work of a loading survey with respect to heavy lift and project cargoes also includes the inspection of the correct stowage and the proper weight distribution. On a later stage we will inspect whether the cargo is secured in accordance with the common rules and regulations.

SHIP TRANSFER

UES knows from experience that the quality of a service is mainly dependent on the people who are providing the service. We therefore strive to have a highly skilled and educated crew on board with sufficient experience regarding the vessel type to be delivered. Our shore based team of former Chief engineers and Master Mariners will provide you with a safe, cost-effective and hassle free service from the port of departure to the port of arrival. To ensure a successful ship transfer it needs more than just manning a vessel and sailing. In accordance with ensuring compliance with good seamanship, safety standards and requirements from Class Societies and Underwriters, we prepare the voyage and a great deal of ingenuity that extends operating ranges and sailing limits.
